Industrial Research & Technology Ltd. (IRT) is based in Hillsborough, Northern Ireland and the company’s main range of activities is:
- Product research & development.
- Product analysis and testing.
- Assisting clients with Invest NI grant applications.
- Patent advice.
IRT comprises a team of experienced professionals with a wide range of scientific backgrounds. The company’s main expertise lies within the household products sector but significant development work has been undertaken over the last number of years into adducts of hydrogen peroxide.
IRT’s research and testing work is split into two distinct parts:
- the first is in-house research and development; this is undertaken to enlarge its own portfolio of novel products
- and the second is client-specific assignments.
All of IRT’s assignments for its clients are undertaken within recognised quality management systems and the company is certified to ISO 9001/2000.
